So…will our monkey grow up thinking she is human and think Boaz is her brother? We have 2 names we are thinking about: Mo (as in Mohawk or MO-nkey) and Kemie, which is sort of like the Baka word for monkey “Kema”. What do you think?
Greetings to you all. So glad to see Boaz smiling and what a cute monkey. Either name is good, let the children choose. May our Lord bless and keep you till we meet again at FBC. The Joneses
My vote goes to Kemie. And since it is close to the Baka word for monkey, it really does fit. Did you check out the French word for monkey? That could work too.
Singe, is the French word for monkey...Maybe we'll be like the Baka and call it Mo, Kemie, and Monk-Monk. We know alot of Baka that have 3 or more names. Sometimes they make up a new name if they are at a new place so that no one can track them down when they leave!

If he thinks he is human, maybe you should call him Darwin? Give him a few million years...
I like Mo. Monk-Monk is cool too. You had a stuffed animal named that, right?
